Views of the water can be seen through most windows and the balcony outside the glass doors will be furnished with comfy chairs that invite guests to sit outside in the salt air, relax, and savor sunrises and sunsets every morning and evening.
A Step Above
Our Sapphire sanctuaries offer an elevated vacation experience and in the living rooms sofas will be plush, topped with rich fabrics, and placed where views of the television and the blue seas are optimal. Shelves or cabinets may be stocked with books, movies, or board games, and late model flat screened televisions will provide pictures so clear and precise that movie night here will be as wonderful as movie night in the community theater.
The Heart of the Home
Our kitchens truly are the heart of the home, equipped with stainless steel appliances (in most cases) stone counter tops and custom cabinetry, with classic doors hiding all the things you need to create a meal; dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans; the only thing missing in our kitchens is the ingredients you have yet to purchase to create your favorite meals. Large breakfast bars will be where guests can enjoy snacks, conversations, or even a morning bowl of cereal before heading out to explore all that South Padre Island has to offer. Just as in your own homes, the kitchens are where people will migrate, sharing conversations as they forage for snacks, tell dad jokes, and whip up margaritas for a day of fun on the beach!
Family Gathers Here
The dining areas of our Sapphire retreats should more accurately be called the family room, because they really are where families gather. Eating dinner on a lazy night in, putting together complex puzzles in between Texas adventures, or, and this is our favorite way to enjoy a family night at home, playing board games as the moon casts its glow over the cool waters below. Your family vacation is one in which you will want to spend as much time with your family as possible and our sweet sanctuaries are designed to enable you to do just that.
Maybe you will share coffee and snacks in the morning hours with your teens, learning their dreams and all that is going on in their lives at this particular moment or maybe you and your favorite traveling partner will sit in those same chairs in the evening, making plans for the future as you sip chardonnay and savor the quiet times. There is no wrong way to relax and enjoy yourself in our beachfront escapes, just many wonderful options that will make you feel comfortable and at home.

Our attention to detail will be apparent in every room in the house, but it is when you retire to our bedrooms each night that you will really feel spoiled. Premium beds topped with the softest of linens dominate the tranquil room, inviting guests to relax and maybe watch some television before drifting off to sleep. En suite baths in the primary suites may offer deep tubs, some jetted, some not, and both offering a relaxing experience that will be the highlight of your day.
Pour yourself a glass of wine, grab the book out of your carryon, and sink into aromatic waters and let the magic begin; it won’t take long before you find yourself ready to slip out of the tub and into the bed eager to sleep and to dream. Oversized windows let in the views of the sea, with blinds or curtains darkening your room on the mornings you want to sleep in a little later and quiet corners may be furnished with desk and chair, allowing visitors to work from our homes, maybe enabling travelers to extend their vacation a little longer.
