Embassy is one of the smaller beachfront communities on South Padre Island, which is the whole point of it — private beach access, a community pool with room to actually get a lounge chair, and private tennis courts, without the crowds of a large resort tower. The condos face the water, and every stay includes VayKLife beach gear. Check your dates below.
What Guests Say About Embassy
What the Embassy Community Gives You
-
A Smaller Building Embassy is a compact community rather than a high-rise resort, so the pool and the beach access never feel like they are being shared with a convention. -
Private Tennis Courts The courts belong to the community, so a game does not mean booking a public court or driving anywhere. -
Private Beach Access Guests reach the sand through the community's own access rather than the island's public entry points. -
A Pool With Lounge Chairs Free The community pool has a large run of loungers, and in a building this size you are not setting an alarm to claim one. -
Balconies Over the Beach The condos look straight out at white sand and the Gulf, close enough that you hear the surf with the door open. -
Beach Gear Included VayKLife beach gear comes with the stay, so the chairs and umbrellas are already here when you arrive. -
Laundry in the Unit A washer and dryer in the condo means sandy towels and swimsuits get dealt with as you go. -
Kitchens Stocked to Cook In The kitchens are updated and fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils and dishware, not just a kettle and two mugs.
Inside an Embassy Condo
Embassy condos are two-bedroom, two-bath layouts sleeping six, and they are laid out for two couples or a family rather than a crowd. Embassy #404 is representative: an open living, dining and kitchen area with a dining table that seats six and counter seating for four more, so nobody is eating standing up.
The primary bedroom has a king bed with a direct view of the beach, a large vanity and a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has two full beds, which is the layout that works for kids sharing or for a second couple. There is a washer and dryer in the unit, and the balcony looks out over the sand.
If your dates are taken, the other beachfront communities are worth checking, and if the smaller-and-quieter part is what appeals, Edgewater and Florence are the closest equivalents. Our guide to the island’s condo communities puts them side by side.

Around Embassy
The water directly off this stretch is home to several large pods of dolphins, and wildlife watching and dolphin tours are among the easiest half-days on the island to organise. On land, Sea Turtle Inc. and the Birding and Nature Center are both short drives, and the beach guide covers which stretches suit what.
From late spring through the end of summer there are regular firework shows over the Laguna Madre and the Gulf, and a beachfront balcony is a better seat than anywhere you could stand. Those are put on by the island rather than by us, so treat them as a bonus. For the rest of the trip, fishing runs year-round and the island's restaurants are a short drive up Padre Boulevard.

Booking an Embassy Condo
Availability and pricing in the listings above update live. Booking direct puts you with the team that manages the building rather than a listing platform — the guest FAQ covers deposits, check-in and cancellation, and the office takes calls and texts at (956) 572-6656. If you own a unit at Embassy and want it in a rental program, our property management team looks after the rest of the island portfolio. Otherwise, go back to the Embassy listings and check your dates.
