This lovely home was perfect, very clean very spacious, well equipped kitchen, and a shady patio with a hot tub. The very short walk to the beach was so nice with the pool right across the street from the house. We had a wonderful time!!!

Blue Marlin Villa (6508B Fountain Way) sits in the gated Villas of South Padre community: a four-bedroom, nearly 3,000-square-foot townhome with a private patio hot tub, community pool and kiddie pool, tennis/pickleball, and a gated boardwalk straight to the beach — with HOA guest-list and wristband rules that matter if anyone in your party is a day visitor.
Villas are the right lane when you want a whole house rather than a condo floor. If you specifically want a freestanding house on or near the sand, also check beach house rentals. For tower living with shared resort amenities, compare condo communities. Groups that need more beds can filter by four bedrooms or five bedrooms. Want soak-after-the-beach built in? Narrow to rentals with a hot tub or heated pools.

Families often mix pool mornings with an afternoon at Sea Turtle Inc. or the waterparks. If your group wants boat time or bay water, look at kayaking and the fishing guide rather than assuming every villa is bayfront.
