4616 Gulf (South) is a 6 bedroom/6 bathroom beachfront townhome with a private pool and hot tub!
The vast 5500+ square foot beachfront estate is perfect for large groups, friends and families!

The 1st floor encompasses a large open concept for the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is built for a chef, with ample countertop space for meal preparation, huge refrigerator and freezer, ice maker, and massive propane stove. The large counter space offers plenty of room for extra seating close to the dining area. The living room features a large flat screen tv with a large couch able to accommodate guests while watching their favorite shows or movies.

The second and third floors entail 5 bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. The bedrooms are all exceptionally large, especially the master suites! The bathrooms have incredibly detailed tile work and offer guests ample space. This home offers balconies on the front and backyard, whether you want to watch your family and friends play in the pool area, or hang out on the oceanside where you can see South Padre Island's beautiful white sandy beaches. The property is also located within walking distance to local shops, restaurants, entertainment & much more!

**Please note that this property does have a shared driveway and entry gate. There are also two garage apartments at the front of the property that may be in use by others during your stay. These apartments are not included in the rental of this property (4616 Gulf South).**

Phenomenal Service and home

I can’t say enough positive things about the the people at SPI rentals. they were there for me 24 hours a day from the moment I booked the beautiful accommodations. Never having been to SPI before or even Texas I was anxious about the rental and the process. Everyone on the other end of the phone from my home in Chicago was always kind polite and reassuring. There were so many lovely young women that were kind to me I can’t remember all their names. The only name I remember at the front desk is Lesli, who was absolutely professional all the time. Upon arrival I had lots of questions about how things in the beautiful 4616 Gulf home worked. I called SPI and Damaso and Joey were there immediately to show me how everything from the pool lights to the door locks, to the TVs worked. Again these Helpers were both kind and polite and showed me the courtesy that any upscale resort should give to its customers. During our stay there was a storm and as with any storm there was debris outside the home and in the pool. Within a blink of the eye, SPI was there to clean everything up so we could all enjoy the pool and hot tub. I am so thankful that I booked through SPI and not VRBO. I shiver to think of the consequences and not having the help responsiveness that the rental company gave me. The home is fabulous with beautiful views, pool, hot tub, steam shower,, whirlpool bath, and of course the beautiful beach. Everything else is there that you need except the food. It was a total five star resort experience! Thank you SPI for everything! We will definitely return!

Beautiful home

This well-built house is just what we needed for our time on the beach. The beds were comfortable and we had so much space for everyone. The only draw backs were that the pool did not seem to be circulating. This caused dirt and debris to lay on top, however the heater and jets worked well. Also, it had a lot of steps so be careful if you need it to be accessible. If you have a large family, renting this house would be so much fun for all!

Great place for family reunion

This large, luxurious, well-supplied house was perfect for our group of 8 plus 2 dogs. We called maintenance for a few minor items the first day and the technician responded rapidly, was very courteous, and resolved all of our issues. The hot tub controls are on the wall inside the 1st floor bedroom and we couldn't find them. Once located, the pool & hot tub were delightful. The master bath was really over the top; beautiful and the height of luxury. All of the rooms were large and spacious. There were plenty of towels ( except for beach towels; we were advised to bring our own) and kitchen and bath supplies. The closet on the ground floor was packed full of beach needs; chairs, 6+ boogie boards, beach toys, and even a badminton set. I wouldn't have hauled our beach stuff down had I known how well stocked they were! There are 2 full sized refrigerator / freezers and a large wine cooler. The gas range had an issue with the igniter constantly clicking, but it functioned well and hopefully, by the time you read this, it has been fixed. Some of the window shade pulls needed to be replaced, but again, this was a minor inconvenience and may already be fixed. A large, absorbent mat inside the front door would help a lot with the water tracked inside from the pool. The patios were very nice and the outdoor shower and hoses made beach cleanup super easy. There was plenty of parking including a 2 car garage. Access to the beach was very convenient. The neighbors were a bit noisy and filled up our outside trash can as well as parking to prevent the garbage men from picking up the garbage on Saturday morning. Apparently each of them individually brought their own cars. Overall it was a great stay, the facilities and staff were excellent. Quite expensive during the peak season, but worth it for a special occasion!

Huge ocean front home with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms ( extra beds in 4 of the bedrooms). Large kitchen with 2 refrigerators (very helpful with a large group), 6 burner stove, large table for 8 plus long bar area seats another 8 people. In the closet under the stairs are lots of extra beach chairs and beach toys. Each of the 3 floors has a nice balcony for watching gulf activities or sipping morning coffee. Our family ranged in age from 2 to 73 and we all had a wonderful time!

Extra Large Beautiful Beach home

We totally enjoyed our stay here. It was as close to the beach as you could get, had a pool and plenty of room for our family group of 14. The only improvements that we would suggest is more pool chairs for the pool area, being able to use the elevator for injured my husband would have ben nice. Bunk beds in one of the rooms would have been nice for kids. The two refrigerators and the large dining area was wonderful. Having a private shower/bathroom for most guests was also a nice bonus.

We stayed in the 6 bedroom side. It was beautiful. Amazing views! Right on the ocean! Pool, hot tub, clean! We weren't sure how to run the pool or locks so we called SPI and they were there within an hour. We had the best time and would definitely recommend to others.

House was beautiful, was really really big and view / access to beach was terrific! Slats on one bed were broken and microwave sparked really bad. They did replace slats and gave us a loaner microwave fairly quickly. Hot tub didn't work but was still used along with pool. Would highly recommend.

We had our whole immediate family 14 of us staying at the SPI Property located at 4616 Gulf Blvd South. We had a fabulous time and less than 2 minutes to a fantastic beach. The house was clean and over all in good shape. We were able to sleep ever one comfortably with their own bathrooms. I would highly recommend this property as a wonderful getaway for family and friends! SPI property's was fantastic to deal with and made sure the property was clean and functional when we arrived. This beach is very nice and our party of 9 people enjoyed it. The property was clean and in great shape. The hot tub and pool were in good condition. Multiple TV and WiFi worked well. Excellent beach access. Would recommend for any large party seeking a very nice beach house on South Padre.

This is a very nice house!! Great location on the water/beach and near all of the local restaurants and shops! Our only "complaint" is that we wish the kitchen had been a little better stocked with pans and we were short of washcloths and had to do laundry frequently to have clean ones. Small issues - overall excellent!!!!

This place is gorgeous. I was living the life of luxury for my mini vacation. Relaxing at the pool while looking at the night sky was incredible. I didn't want to leave. Spacious, clean, views.... I could go on and on. Beach chairs in the garage along with pool toys.

Huge townhome rental

Beautiful townhome rental that is located off the beach. All bedrooms were large with TV and a majority have their own bathroom. Kitchen and living area is large with a lot of space and seating. Included was a mother in law suite but we did not occupy. Few hiccups at beginning but that didn't stop us from enjoying our time vacation. Overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Spectacular Beach House for large group!

We had both sides of this Amazing house for a wedding party. From the outside it looks pretty basic but inside it Impressive! Beautiful spiral staircase leads to the master suite on the top floor where there is a steam shower fit for the rich and famous! The 5500 square feet will actually comfortably accommodate the posted 24 person occupancy. The only negatives are the shades do not function in some of the rooms and the door locks on the back of the house don't work well. Would definitely stay here again!!!

The floors are being ruined because they do not have furniture pads. SPI were very very helpful. Also there were not enough kitchen towels or hot pads. That was not on the list to bring. We loved staying there and had a great time.

This was a beautiful, warm and inviting home with AMAZING views on all floors. This was the perfect house for our family reunion, we very comfortably housed 19 of us and even had room for a few more. The furniture was perfect for a large group. There was more than enough room for us to enjoy family time together in the common areas. The balconies provided beautiful views and an escape if a quiet moment was needed. The bedrooms far exceeded our expectations with ample space, more than enough storage for everyone’s stuff. Each bedroom had its own bathroom (the first-floor bedroom had a bathroom across the hall, the rest were on suite) which was a very pleasant surprise, and the mattresses were very comfortable an easily overlooked detail. The washer and dryer were updated and easy to use. Every inch of the house was immaculate. We had to reach out to SPI Rentals with some questions when we first checked in and they were VERY quick to respond and were VERY attentive to our needs. If we return to South Padre Island we would definitely stay in this home again!

Fun time had by many!

The house was fabulous and worked great for my 3 generation gathering. We had 8 adults and 5 between the ages of 2-13. We enjoyed everything in the house including all the space! Mostly, we enjoyed our time together. The house even served as a place for my extended family to gather on Saturday to share our mom's memories and then scatter her ashes. The only down side, the pool was not heated but it served it's purpose if you were willing to give it a try. Thank you for allowing your home to be become our home for a short while.
